Abstract
One magnon excitations in cubic MBE-grown Mga_xMn~Te layers (where x/> 0.7) were observed by means of Raman-scattering measurements below N6el temperature. Elastic and inelastic neutron-scattering measurements were performed on a few micrometer thick MnTe layers. MnTe lattice distortion resulting from the magnetostriction effect was confirmed and neutron scattering on magnons was demonstrated.
