1 Introduction
We will discuss a realistic approach to magnetism and electronic structure of correlated materi-als which takes into account dynamical many-body effects. The scheme combines the featuresof the itinerant electron theory (Stoner) of magnetic crystals with the localized-moment descrip-tion (Heisenberg) in a unified spin-fluctuations approach for a generalized multiorbital Hub-bard model. Moreover, we analyze the calculation of effective exchange interaction-parametersbased on the realistic electronic structure of correlated magnetic crystals.
